Cricket World Cup

Cricket World Cup is conducted once in four years by the Cricket governing body, ICC. The venue of the World Cup is decided based on the rotation policy. The last time Cricket World Cup was played at West Indies during the year 2007 from March 13th to April 28th. The Cricket World Cup is conducted for the One-Day International and Twenty20 formats. The participating teams are divided into four groups and league matches are played within the group teams. Next level is Super 8 , and the next is semi-finals, and last is the finals. The next Cricket World Cup is going to be held jointly at India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in the year 2010.
